It Changes

Are you discouraged because of your mistake? It is reality we are not perfect, and in the world. Maybe you could not do something as God wants his children to do, and made a mistake. It doesn't mean that you are unrighteous, abased and not good in His sight.
Our perfection and deeds might define ourselves to world, but not to God. Our prayer can define us in God's sight.
Because when we pray we stand ourselves before God in originality which is all about how we are in his sight.
Now you know that we are not a perfect, so what we do? The answer is, we can pray with repentance for his mercy to be an acceptable in his sight.
Jesus told the story about prayer of two mans (Luke 18:9-14). One of them was a Pharisee. We must know the Pharisees were strict adherents of the law of Moses.
The Pharisee had done well, and many things as he should do.
But according to his prayer he trusted and exalted himself as a good and righteous person in God, only because of what he had done and who he was.
Another one was a tax collector. On that time the tax collectors were known as a corrupted and sinners (Matt 9:10).
But when the tax collector prayed, whatever mistakes he had made and sinned against God, he just confessed himself as a sinner before God.
He prayed humbly and repenting, not even looked up to heaven, and asked God for his mercy.
Finally Jesus concluded the tax collector went down to his home justified, rather than the Pharisee.
In my case I got to know the importance of prayer by this story, and it always encourages me to pray repent before God, whatever mistakes I may have made.
Today I encourage you, mistake which you have made make it a reason to repent, repentance which you do make it a reason to be humble, and pray with that humbleness,
finally when you pray, make it a reason to trust in God.                    
That prayer will make you exalted and justified in God's sight.
